About the Item

‘Hello world’ is a programme that produces the phrase ‘Hello, world!’ on a screen or other device. Variations with different punctuation or case are also used — for example, ‘Hello world’. This is usually the first example of a programme in programming textbooks, and for many students such a programme is their first experience when learning a new language.

The performance ‘Hello World’ took place at the 24-hour exhibition APXIV-24, held as part of the Parallel Programme of the 6th Moscow Biennale for Young Art. In this work the artist practised the transition to digital reality, alienating the socially constructed female body to feel free of objectification.
