About the Item
"ECO RATE YOUR ART" is a map that artists and other viewers can follow, step by step, to evaluate the ecological footprint of their work.
Each person, when he/she performs an outward action, leaves his/her ecological footprint in one way or another. It can be both positive and negative. This also applies to the activities of artists around the world. The point of view of the artist and of the art community as a whole is directed towards the future and is aimed at anticipating events and situations. This is why it is so important that environmental impacts are taken into account when creating a work of art. Now that the world is immersed in large-scale environmental problems, we consider it our mission to draw the attention of the art community to the importance of raising environmental awareness.

About the Artist
Rita Raeva is a multimedia artist from Moscow, Russia. She works mostly with computer generated graphics and experimental video. She finished British Higher School of art and design in Moscow in 2019 with focus on motion graphics design, and currently is a student at Rodchenko Art School in Moscow with focus on contemporary media art. The main topics of Margarita’s interest are: body and technology symbiosis, physiological and mental traumas, sexuality.
Anna Rumyantseva, born in Krivoy Rog, Ukraine, lives and works in Moscow. She is currently an employee of the Rodchenko Art School, since 2021 is a participant of the “Sustainable Creative Practice” workshop by A. Shulgin and Y. Prudenko. Field of interest: digital technology, media art, XR, art&science.
