Sardaana Khokholova
Radio Moma
About the Item
Moma is a river and region in the northeast of Yakutia. An audio-dreif "Radio Moma" broadcasts the flickering voices of the people from this place: memories, fragments from the centuries-old history of the place, stories about everyday life, reminiscences about forest and river life, wishes for the future. Between the voices you can listen to the songs written by authors from the village of Khonuu. Some melodies and lyrics were inspired by longing and missing for close to heart landscapes, and others tell about the wonderful images of plant-life.
