About the Item
The project is dedicated to possible new types of communication between plant organisms. In the course of techno-ecological changes plants have created an effective network of communities, joining with other life forms – fungi and bacteria. ‘Spying’ on human achievements, they have improved existing information transmission technologies, taking as a basis their own mycorrhizal networks (mycelia that connect plants and transport nutrients to their roots). This has allowed them to integrate into our economy, politics and culture. Vegetative cyberorganisms have become an all-pervasive force controlling the course of history.
