HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE DAY’ AND ‘NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM’ IN MAMM



On 21 May the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow, invites all friends to ‘Historical and Cultural Heritage Day’ and ‘Night at the Museum’. Entrance to the museum will be free after prior registration.

Our museum has prepared a large-scale offline and online programme: guided tours of exhibitions at the ‘Art for the Future’ first international biennale, the ‘Copyright Regulation in Museum Activities’ scientific and practical conference, an amateur ping pong tournament from Ping Tablet, children’s workshops, film screenings, and a DJ set from STUDIO 21. We hope everyone can find an event to their liking!
Offline programme

From 13:00 to 18:00 there will be a creative workshop for children over 4 years old. During classes the students will learn about the history of Russian art and create graphic works. You can join the event at any time, pre-registration is not required. Please note, the table can only accommodate 10 participants.

From 14:00 to 18:00 the mediators will conduct sightseeing tours around the ‘Art for the Future’ biennale. Excursions start at 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Registration is required to participate.

From 15:00 to 18:00 in the cinema hall, MAMM and CLIFF Legal Services will hold the scientific and practical conference ‘Copyright Regulation in Museum Activities’ for employees of cultural institutions and broad circles of the museum community, as well as artists, photographers and other representatives of the creative industry. Registration is required to participate in the conference. We ask conference participants to wear masks.

From 15:00 to 20:00 Ping Tablet will hold an amateur ping pong tournament. The three winners will receive a Friend of MAMM Card as a gift from the museum and branded merchandise from the organizers. To participate in the tournament you must register via VKontakte or Telegram.

From 19:30 to 20:15 two new films by Rodchenko School students will be shown in the cinema hall.

1st session at 19:30: a film from the cycle ‘How Young Artists Live’ with Katya Pryanik (Ekaterina Pryanichnikova), a graduate and teacher of the Rodchenko School and participant in the ‘Art for the Future’ biennale. Registration is required.

2nd session at 20:00: the film ‘Folded In Three’ by Rodchenko School student Yana Osman. Registration is required.

From 21:00 to 23:00: a special musical gift from STUDIO 21 – a unique media project, the only radio station in Russia dedicated to contemporary music and youth culture. In the ground floor lobby the station’s stars Petr Levinsky and Lucy Grin will play exclusive DJ sets so that everyone gets to know, or dive deeper, into the world of hip hop.
